The product range is varied and includes electronic goods, sporting equipment, musical instruments, a DIY tool and hardware range, as well as photographic equipment and small household appliances. Pawnbroking is a neglected industry that offers exceptional opportunities to a modern and dynamic retailer.

Cash Crusaders is determined to apply a new approach to an old industry, and in so doing, attract a customer base who have never set foot inside a traditional second hand store.

Through the medium of franchising, prospective franchisees are offered the opportunity of joining this fast growing company, and in so doing, becoming part of a proven, secure and profitable business concept.

The Cash Crusaders Franchise System has successfully evolved over the years to support Franchisees and make them as successful and profitable as possible.

Finance

The cost of a new store (turnkey operation) is R 1 150 525.00, including VAT. The VAT reclaimable is approximately R 125 475.00.

Your own contribution would be R 500 000.00 of unencumbered capital and a loan for the balance of the setup costs of approximately R 650 000.00 would be applied for through various financial institutions.

Your startup capital would be used to pay the initial Licensing Fee of R 68 400.00 including VAT, while the balance would be used to pay all relevant deposits to contractors totalling R 492 926.00.

A provision has been made for the cost of training (management and staff) for a period of 7 to 8 weeks out of the working capital of R 150 000.00.

Training and Support

Cash Crusaders Franchisees are offered intensive support and assistance by the operations team before, during and after their store opening. Typically, Franchisees are actively involved in the set up and construction of their stores. The cash Crusaders Franchise Team assist Franchisee's in securing competitive quotations for shopfitting and fixtures through their extensive network of suppliers and contractors.

Prior to the store opening the Cash Crusaders Franchise team will assist the Franchisee in the procurement, layout, merchandising and pricing of the extensive product range. The Cash Crusaders Operations team ensures that you have access to support and advice at all times.

While no specific experience is necessary to qualify as a Cash Crusaders Franchisee, we do screen all applicants carefully, to ensure that each new store has every possible chance of success. Our Franchisee profile is that of a "vibey" energetic and service orientated individual, keen to run their own business and succeed.

Cash Crusaders currently trades with over 134 stores nationwide and an additional 6 stores in neighbouring countries.

The Cash Crusades Franchise Team, who together share decades of franchising experience and expertise, work with new Franchisees from the onset. We have good relationships with several prominent players in the retail property market, and working closely with you, we evaluate all potential sites and upon approval selecting the best possible location for a Cash Crusader store.

Once a prime site has been located and the necessary feasibility concluded, which includes demographic research, and area analysis, we will assist you in negotiating the most favourable lease teams possible.
