These batteries are readily available from New Battery Dealers, Battery Scrap Yards and Customers such as transport companies and secondhand car dealers that are looking to replace old batteries for reconditioned ones at a reduced price.

Battery Specialist offers a product that delivers just that.. we support the protection of the environment by recycling and other eco friendly methods of looking after the environment.

Instead of discarding your old battery, we will recycle it with our unique desulphation machine and offer a 12 month guarantee on reconditioned batteries.

The cost per battery to recondition varies between R 15 and R 30 -electricity and battery additive - the chemical needed for the reconditioning process.

We sell these recycled batteries for 50% of the new price and our clients hereby affords a huge saving- in difficult times. 

There are 2 basic marketing models-

a. We make a deal with a fleet owner such as truck company, courier service or any other fleet owner to manage the batteries and aim to bring battery replacement overheads down by as much as 50%. For a fleet owner this is sweet music to his ears. We will then recondition all old batteries on site and manage future battery usage on a contract basis. Thus no need to buy stock!

OR -

b. The retail model of buying and selling used batteries, reconditioning them and offer for sale to second hand car dealers, public and companies. Remember a battery is inherently valuable due to the lead content which is recycled by scrap metal dealers.
